Black Rock High School Class of 1967 Activities
Overview
All Mustang lovers are welcome to attend!! While driving with the group please be responsible and stay in your own lane. We are asking everyone to please bring walkie-talkies since there is ZERO cell phone service on the Dragon. The agenda is optional, so feel free to do as much or as little with the group as you'd like. Some of the best times are just chilling at the hotel with our Mustang family - so bring your beverages.
- All drives will be BEFORE drinking.
- CAUTION: Stay in your own lane! (between the mustard and the mayo) - BIG TICKET!
- Have fun on the Dragon, but BE SAFE and don't over-drive the road. It is very dangerous!
Schedule
Day 1 - Thursday (5 1/2 hrs - 210 miles)
Day 1 - Motel to TOTD - Cherohala - Tellico Plains - and back
- Breakfast: TBD (Reagan's House of Pancakes?)
- Travel Foothills Parkway toward TOTD - stop at last overlook (#14) on Foothills Pkwy to regroup
- Continue to TOTD (Deals Gap) - stop at Killboy Shop
- Continue to Robbinsville, NC - ? Lunch
- Continue to Cherohala Skyway to Tellico Plains
- Continue to Dragon City
- Continue back to Motel via Foothills Pkwy
Day 2 - Friday (4 hrs - 149 miles)
Day 2 - Cherokee - Gatlinburg - and back
Day 3 - Saturday
Open day to do your own thing. Keep in mind that the Dragon will be busier and there will most likely have more police presence on the weekend.
